AI & Creative Retouching

Project Overview

This project combined AI-assisted retouching with traditional Blender 3D rendering and Photoshop compositing to create photorealistic product visuals — without a physical studio shoot. The objective was to produce Amazon-ready images across multiple product angles and lifestyle contexts, at a fraction of the cost of traditional photography.

The final deliverables included a complete set of main and side images ready for immediate upload to Amazon Seller Central, plus lifestyle background composites for A+ Content and brand storefront use.

Tools & Techniques Used

• Blender (3D rendering) — detailed product model with PBR materials, HDRI studio lighting, and multi-angle camera setups
• Photoshop (compositing) — lifestyle scene integration, shadow creation, color grading, and final output preparation
• AI upscaling — renders enhanced to ultra-high resolution for sharp detail at any zoom level
• AI background generation — contextual lifestyle environments created using generative tools, composited with the product render
• Retouching — material refinement, glare removal, seam correction, and edge cleanup for pixel-perfect results

The 3D Rendering Process

The process begins with building a detailed 3D model of the product in Blender. Exact product dimensions, material properties (matte, glossy, metallic, fabric), and color matching are established from reference photography provided by the client. The model is then rigged for multiple viewing angles.

Studio lighting is designed using high-dynamic-range (HDR) environment maps that simulate professional product photography lighting conditions — removing harsh shadows, eliminating glare on reflective surfaces, and ensuring even, flattering illumination across the entire product.

Final renders are exported at maximum resolution and brought into Photoshop for compositing. Lifestyle backgrounds, subtle floor shadows, and color corrections are applied — resulting in images that are visually indistinguishable from high-end studio photography.
